

Brief
Capitalise on the biggest betting moment in the LATAM sports calendar - The COPA America - to drive awareness of crypto betting brand STAKE and keep them front of mind for bettors throughout the tournament.
Strategy
We created a multi-channel, multi-moment campaign that would sustain exposure and momentum for the brand throughout the 4-week event.
With Argentina hot favourites to win the tournament, we enlisted Stake Ambassador and Argentinian footballing royalty - Sergio Aguero - to lay down the gauntlet to the other competing nations via a simple, news-worthy picture moment. Cue Sergio in Miami (home to Argentina’s training ground) with a herd of goats and the simple caption ‘The GOATS have arrived.’ The story was designed to grab the attention of sports enthusiasts and bettors, and spark debate amongst football fans.
Leaving no stone unturned, we supplemented the picture story by inviting key media along to talk to our hero GOAT Sergio, and seeded interview clips more widely throughout the campaign.

Results
We had a viral hit on our hands. The image and interviews were covered by over 100 press and specialist football sites across 30 countries. The campaign delivered Stakes highest performing social post EVER - with over 10 million impressions and 1 million likes.
And Argentina went on to win the COPA America (we like to think it’s thanks to STAKE & the GOATS).
