Deliver a creative campaign to support the launch of Canterbury’s Speed Infinite Elite rugby boot.

Strategy


To mark the launch of Canterbury's Speed Infinite Elite rugby boot, Press Box PR implemented a multi-channel campaign championing the design innovation behind the boot and the brand's key messaging: Fast is Out There.

Canterbury became the first rugby brand to send a boot into the stratosphere, which demonstrated the ‘out of this world’ qualities of the Speed Infinite Elite product. Press Box PR received 4k video footage and hi-res imagery of the boot in space, which was packaged up and send to relevant media titles along with the news story.

To supplement the creative campaign, the agency utilised Canterbury's top-tier ambassador roster to place media interviews in rugby verticals and relevant national newspapers to drive links to purchase.

Additionally, to get the product in the hands of key media, we identified and led product sampling, resulting in product reviews, as well as brand awareness.

Results

  • Press Box PRR's team secured 30 pieces of coverage with a reach of +48million
  • 20 product sent to media resulting in product reviews to supplement the creative
  • Social media impressions of over 1 million
