Marnie Swindells - Bronx Boxing Club Launch
Brief
Thanks to the investment of Lord Sugar, Apprentice 2023 winner Marnie Swindells launched the second phase of her gym 'Bronx Boxing Club' on Wednesday, 24th April 2024.
Marnie being a member of our talent roster, Press Box were tasked with organising the launch whilst also securing social media and press coverage for both Marnie and the gym.
Strategy
The Press Box team of journalists-turned-publicists firstly organised the event alongside Marnie and her team. They then set about establishing the most newsworthy and editorially viable aspects of the event.
Using their extensive catalogue of press and celebrity contacts the Press Box team crafted a guest-list of relevant people to bring as much attention to the launch as possible.
During the event the team worked to bring the right people together to facilitate the effective coverage of the event; alongside pouring the odd drink and taping down the occasional red carpet.
In the days following the event the team went out to their contacts in the press to ensure that news of the launch reached as many eyes and ears as possible.
Result
The work of the Press Box team resulted in direct mentions of the launch reaching almost 700,000 people and images of the launch/the brand's logo reaching almost 7 million on social media.
The team also secured over 20 pieces of press coverage, including live interviews on GBNews and TalkSport alongside extensive coverage in all major tabloids.
