QiH Group
Brief
Press Box PR was appointed by igaming affiliate and white label operator QiH Group in early 2023 to improve its standing in the gaming industry. Its immediate goals were to become more visible with its existing partners and to attract more potential partners. Its longer-term goal was to make it onto leading industry publication EGR’s annual Power Affiliates list.
Strategy
Press Box PR interviewed key stakeholders at the company to determine the company’s main strengths and work out its key messaging for media outreach. During this process, the team found that it had a better-than-average gender balance for the industry, a very strong focus on compliance and an aim to expand further internationally. In the case of the last, it had already begun the process of moving into the US market.
Press Box PR used these topics to pitch thought leadership articles to leading industry publications. The team also went through the company’s financials and history in detail to combine these with its strengths to put together strong entries for various industry awards.
Results
During the initial three-month contract with QiH Group, Press Box PR placed four interviews or editorials in leading B2B publications. The team also secured coverage of the CEO’s views on the white paper in four industry titles. Over the period, QiH Group was featured in iGB, EGR, Gambling Insider, SBC and iNTERGAMINGi.
Press Box PR also helped the firm secure a spot on EGR’s Power Affiliates list, with it debuting at No. 21 in 2023. In addition, the team wrote an award entry that saw it shortlisted in the category of best acquisition and retention partner of the year in EGR’s highly regarded B2B awards.
Having been pleased with the early results, Press Box PR has continued to work with QiH Group as a retained PR client. The team has since succeeded in obtaining shortlisting for six more industry awards, as well as six further op-eds and five other pieces of industry coverage.
